Alleged lottery scammers held, gun recovered in Westmoreland

Two men have been arrested for breaches of the lottery scamming and firearms acts following an operation by the police in Grange Hill, Westmoreland.
The police say their identities are being withheld pending further investigations.
The Grange Hill police report that about 1:20 yesterday afternoon, a team was conducting an intelligence-led operation in the area which led to the search of a property.
The police say during the search, a Springfield XD .40 pistol and 22 lead sheets were found.
The men were subsequently taken into custody in relation to the find.
