Female among four held in Westmoreland gun, ammo find

Three men and a woman have been held in connection with the seizure of two firearms and several rounds of ammunition on Dalling Street, Westmoreland on Saturday.

Police reports are that about 5:45 a.m., lawmen were on operation in the area when a premises was searched and the following seized:

- Two Glock pistols

- Forty-two 9mm cartridges

- Twenty-one .40 cartridges

- Four magazines were seized.

The identities of the persons taken into custody are being withheld pending further investigations.
