Falmouth hospital attacked after crash victim dies

A section of the Falmouth hospital in Trelawny was damaged this morning after it came under attack from relatives and friends of a victim of a motor vehicle crash.

The glass facade to the Accident and Emergency Department was shattered after irate relatives and friends of the crash victim hurled stones, causing staff to run for cover.

This after the man said be involved in the motor vehicle crash that occurred minutes after 6 a.m. on the Martha Brae main road died while undergoing treatment at the Accident and Emergency Department of the hospital.

His relatives and friends contend that his death could have been prevented if treatment was administered in a speedy manner.
