Ferncourt students injured in stabbing incident, two others detained

Two students of the Ferncourt High School in St Ann have been admitted to the St Ann’s Bay Hospital after being stabbed in an incident at the school this morning.

Attempts to reach principal Lenworth Sterling were not successful.

However, the Claremont police confirmed that two male students were admitted to the hospital after being stabbed during an altercation at the school.

The police say two other students have been detained for questioning in relation to the incident.

The police described the condition of the students as stable.
