The Hanover Police have charged three male students who allegedly attacked a bus conductor in the parish last week.

The boys were today charged with assault and malicious destruction of property.

The teens, whose names are being withheld because they are minors, are scheduled to appear in court on Friday.

The police say they are still searching for two other students who are believed to be involved in the attack.

The incident came to public attention last week after a video of the attack went viral on social media.

In the video, students were seen using stones and what appeared to be a knife to attack the bus conductor.

The police subsequently launched an investigation.
