Bailiffs are now evicting disbarred attorney Harold Brady from his rental home in Cherry Gardens, St Andrew.

This comes more than eight months after lawyers for the owners of the four-bedroom property went to court and obtained an eviction order for outstanding rent totalling US$65,000 or approximately J$7.8 million.

According to neighbours, a number of Brady's personal items were loaded onto a truck that left the premises a short time ago.

The Gleaner visited the Cherry Drive home and saw bailiff and workmen removing several items.

It's understood that the truck is to return to collect them.

The owners of the property were also granted an order for seizure and sale of goods belonging to Brady, but it is unclear whether the items removed from the house today would be confiscated by the bailiffs.

Brady avoided eviction last November when Oswald Sherriah, bailiff for the Supreme Court, and a team went to the upscale home to enforce the court order.

However, the eviction was aborted after Brady paid part of the outstanding rent.
