The National Commercial Bank (NCB) says it is addressing issues with some of its automated banking machines (ABMs).

The bank says its aware of issues related to downtime and the ability of customers to do some transactions.

It says it has invested in tooling to monitor machines for uptime and cash balances, and have revisited service level arrangements with its providers.

“As the most highly utilised ABM fleet in the country, the transaction volumes have increased over time. As such, we have also initiated the installation of new machines island wide, along with equipment and software upgrades,” NCB said.

“Please be assured that we are actively addressing the issues in order to create … an unparalleled service experience,” the bank added.
