Corporate Hands | JN rewards pedestrians, motorists

Published:Tuesday | July 3, 2018 | 12:00 AM
Yanique Brent-Harris (right), road safety coordinator of the Road Safety Programme at the JN Foundation, rewards a student at the Mico Practising Primary and Junior High School with school supplies during a ‘random rewards’ activity to incentivise pedestrians and motorists for good road-safety behaviour recently. The JN Foundation and the JN General Insurance teams targeted motorcyclists and pedestrians who were observed wearing proper gear or using pedestrian crossings in downtown Kingston, Cross Roads and Half-Way Tree. The activity was one of several initiatives organised by the JN Foundation and the JN General Insurance in observation of Road Safety Month in June and also falls under the X Marks the Spot road-safety campaign being implemented by the JN Foundation and the United Nations Children’s Fund.
