Commissioner of Police Major General Antony Anderson has indicated that an administrative review is to be undertaken into the conduct of members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) in relation to the fatally shooting of a man last Tuesday in Cedar Valley Road, more commonly called Stand Pipe, in St Andrew.

Major General Anderson said the review will form part of the wider investigation in to the incident.

Upset residents have mounted protests in the community, the most recent being yesterday, charging that Shay Williams was killed in cold blood.

The police commissioner, in a media release, said that he met with family members and other community representatives yesterday where he assured that the incident will be properly investigated.

He has also assured the family that the matter is a priority and that the police are fully cooperating with the Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM), which is primarily leading the investigation.
