One man killed, two others injured in St Catherine crash
Investigators assigned to the St Catherine North Police Division are probing the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash that claimed the life of a man and the injury of two others along the P.J Patterson Highway in Old Harbour, St. Catherine yesterday.
The deceased has been identified as 23-year-old Dorren Baker, a forklift operator of Riverside Drive, Seaforth, St Thomas.
It is reported that about 9:00 a.m. Baker was driving a Mitsubishi Gallant motor car towards May Pen.
On reaching a section of the roadway, he allegedly lost control of the vehicle and crashed in the back of parked Toyota Hiace minibus injuring the driver and another man.
All three were taken to hospital where Baker was pronounced dead, the minibus driver treated and released and the third man admitted.
