Corporate area communities without water as NWC shuts down C. Spring facility

Several areas in the Corporate Area are now without water as a result of the National Water Commission (NWC) shutting down the Constant Spring Water Treatment Plant.

The NWC said it was forced to shut down operations because of a break on the 21-inch transmission pipeline.

Areas without water include: Valentines Garden, Red Hills Road, Molynes Road, Constant Spring Road, Havendale, Half-way Tree, Lady Musgrave, White Hall Gardens, Eastwood Park Gardens, Hughenden, Grants Pen, Manor Park, Shortwood, White Hall Gardens, Eastwood Park Gardens, Hughenden, Havendale, Cross Roads, Manor Park, Camperdown, Manning’s Hill Road, Red Hills Road, Arlene Gardens, Roehampton, Calabar Mews, Zaidie Gardens, State Gardens, Molynes Road and Washington Boulevard.

The NWC said it was working to have regular service restored by about 7:00 p.m.
