In honour and recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Pink Day, celebrated last Friday October 5, Sagicor made a symbolic cheque presentation of $1 million to the Jamaica Cancer Society (JCS) towards the annual fundraising event, the Keeping Abreast Luncheon, to be held on October 25 at The Jamaica Pegasus hotel, New Kingston. Presenting the cheque on behalf of Sagicor is Chorvelle Johnson (left), CEO of Sagicor Bank. The recipients are Shullian Brown (second right), fundraising and public relations officer (PRO), JCS, and Dionne Thomas (right), assistant fund-raising and PRO. Sharing in the photo op are breast cancer survivors Eulalee Callum (second left) and Icy Porter. The company has also erected a ‘Get Checked’ banner on its Dominica Drive branch building and its head office on Barbados Avenue, both in New Kingston, as part of its support in raising awareness about breast cancer.
Sagicor team members, clad in pink, in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the celebration of Pink Day last Friday, paused for a quick group picture in front of the ‘Get Checked’ banner erected on the outside of Sagicor Bank, Dominica Drive branch in New Kingston.
