The National Water Commission (NWC) says it should complete repair work on a section of its pipeline near the intersection of Washington Boulevard and Molynes Road in St Andrew by 6 p.m. today.

Consequently, the NWC says this will impact the restoration of water supply to several communities along the Washington Boulevard.

Areas include: Washington Boulevard, Cooreville Gardens, Duhaney Park, Washington Gardens, Patrick City, Ziadie Gardens, State Gardens, Molynes Road and roads leading off.

It is also advising customers that the Rock Hall facility is being affected by single phase issues that have forced the shutdown of the plant.

The NWC says normal operations will be restored as soon as the electricity supply issues are resolved.

Areas affected include: Coopers Hill, Rock Hall, parts of Red Hills, Topper Hill, Mount Atlas, Belvedere Drive, Waugh Hill, Carr Hill, Frazer Crescent, Woodland, Woodland Circle and Walkers Hill.

The NWC says every effort will be made to restore regular water supply in the shortest possible time.
