OUR upgrades ISO certification

The Office of Utilities Regulation (OUR) has received its Certificate of Conformity from the National Certification Body of Jamaica.

This signalled the OUR's transition to the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) 9001:2015 certification of its quality management system, an upgrade of the ISO 9001:2008 certification it received in December 2015.

The ISO 9001:2015 standard holds top management to greater responsibility for the effectiveness of the quality management system. It also places greater attention on risk management.
