There will be no cover-up at Dunn's River, declares Holness
Prime Minister Andrew Holness has charged the boards of the Urban Development Corporation and the St Ann Development Company to move with alacrity to ensure meaningful action is taken to correct issues at the Dunn's River Falls in St Ann.
An independent audit found, among other things, fraud and mismanagement at the state-owned tourist attraction.
“There will be no cover-up on this matter. We will lay the whole matter bare to the public,” Holness said in a statement, indicating that he met with the boards of the agencies yesterday.
“ It reveals another dimension to the corruption that corruption is not always at the governance level, sometimes it's corruption at the management level and the line staff, but nevertheless whatever it is, it is the Government that is responsible,” declared Holness.
