Four shot, two fatally in Standpipe, St Andrew

Four people were on Thursday evening shot, two fatally, in two incidents in Standpipe, Liguanea, St Andrew.
According to the police, in the first incident about 7:45 p.m., gunmen pounced on a group of men near the Barbican Road entrance to Standpipe and opened fire hitting two of them.
They were taken to hospital where one was pronounced dead and the other admitted.
In the second incident fifteen minutes later, two men were attacked and shot by gunmen at the Old Hope Road entrance to the community,
The police have since ramped up their numbers in the community as crime scene investigators carry out their probe.
