Policeman among three killed after gunmen attack party in Spanish Town

A policeman is among three men killed this morning in Spanish Town, St Catherine.
The police Corporate Communication Unit (CCU) confirmed the killing of the policeman, but did not identify him or the circumstances under which he was killed.
A high-level probe comprising senior investigators from the Criminal Investigations Branch (CIB and the Inspectorate of Constabulary is now under way.
Reports are that a businessman was killed by gunman at a party on St Johns Road about 12:30 a.m.
A police team, which responded to the shooting, reportedly intercepted a car with the alleged attackers and a shoot out ensued.
It's reported that two men who were occupants of the car were shot and killed.
Their identities are unknown at this time.
