Students at the Half-Way Tree Primary School now have a fully equipped playground. The equipping of the facility was undertaken by the Kiwanis Club of Trafalgar. The club is spending $10 million from its Park Project Grant, funded by the Kiwanis Division 23 East, to build and upgrade playgrounds at primary and early-childhood schools across the Corporate Area. Here, Governor of the Kiwanis Eastern Canada and the Caribbean District, John Chave (fourth left), cuts the ribbon to officially open the playground recently. Among those sharing the moment are Lieutenant Governor Stephan Rampair (left); faculty advisor for the school’s Builder’s Club, Sherilyn Clifford (third right); students and other members of the Kiwanis Club.
