Member of Parliament for Manchester Southern Robert Chin says he will be visiting the Integrity Commission on Monday to have the matter of outstanding financial records resolved.

In a public notice today, the anti-corruption oversight body asked the Jamaica Labour Party MP to make himself available, stating that it has made several attempts to contact him without success.

The issuance of the appeal by the commission has generated much public discussion.

Addressing the issue this evening in a media release, Chin said that he has been in touch with the Integrity Commission over the last few months in relation to requested financial statements for companies of which he is a director.

He said the statements have not yet been completed by the companies' accountants and as a result are still outstanding.

“I apologise for not providing an update to the commission sooner,” said Chin.

“I will be attending the Office of the Integrity Commission on Monday, March 25, 2024 to have the matter resolved,” he continued.
