Terrelonge blames team member for controversial IG post

Junior Foreign Affairs Minister Alando Terrelonge says a member of his team was responsible for posting a photo to his Instagram account with images of former Prime Ministers PJ Patterson and Portia Simpson Miller covered.

Terrelonge has faced heavy public criticism after the post was made.

Reacting, he distanced himself from the post, stating that it was "not in keeping with my style."

“He [team member] was instructed to remove all stories posted to the account immediately, and I have since removed him from access to all my social media accounts,” he added.

Terrelonge stated that the stories posted are indeed regretted and do not reflect his approach over the years.
