Pedestrian killed in motor vehicle accident in Ocho Rios

Christopher Hawthorne of Charles Town, St Mary died from injuries he received in a fatal collision on the Ocho Rios Bypass in St Ann earlier today.
Reports from the Ocho Rios Police are that about 12:10 a.m., the driver of a Land Rover Discovery motor car was travelling easterly along the roadway when Hawthorne, who was a pedestrian, was hit. He was assisted to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the motor car was warned for prosecution, as investigations continue.
