The Supreme Ventures Foundation (SVF) brought the magic of reading to life at Waterford Primary School on Tuesday, May 7, in celebration of Read Across Jamaica Day.

SVF volunteers from the Supreme Ventures Racing and Entertainment Limited (SVREL), operators of Caymanas Park, spread the joy of storytelling among eager grade one students. Armed with a captivating collection of storybooks, including works by celebrated Jamaican authors, the volunteers brought each tale to life with engaging readings.

“Everything we do in life involves words, even in today’s increasingly digital society. We always see kids as the future of our nation, so it’s extremely important for them to be literate. For us at Supreme Ventures, we understand the good that literacy skills can do for tomorrow’s society, and how critical it is to nurture these in our future leaders. This is why we see it as imperative that we participate in activities like this,” Aswanda Stoddart, AVP of Administration at SVREL, shared.
