Woman killed, several injured in gun attack at bar

A woman was fatally shot and nine others injured at a bar along Shortwood Road in St Andrew early this morning.
The incident occurred about 12:20 am.
Her identity has not yet been ascertained.
“As many as 11 persons were possibly injured during the shooting. Nine went to KPH [Kingston Public Hospital] with gunshot wounds but we understand others were assisted to UWI hospital,” a senior officer told The Gleaner.
The St Andrew North police are probing the shooting.
