Nineteen promising individuals have recently formed the second cohort of forklift trainees through the Desnoes and Geddes (D&G) Foundation Forklift Training Programme.

The initiative, conducted in partnership with Project STAR and DECS Management Services Ltd, saw the trainees completing their assessments over the past two weeks. They are now gearing up for internship opportunities at DECS Management Services Ltd, where they will engage in 20 days of paid internship, gaining practical experience and skills crucial for their future careers.

These newly certified operators will pursue full-time employment after completing their internships.

With the addition of these latest graduates, the programme has certified 40 forklift operators since its launch in July 2023.
