Police seeking woman who allegedly fatally stabbed her child's father

A search is under way for a woman who allegedly fatally stabbed her child's father at St John's Road in Spanish Town, St Catherine, on Wednesday evening. 

The deceased has been identified as Lashan Parker, 26-year-old labourer, of St John's  Road.

About 7 p.m., Parker reportedly went to the home of his child's mother in the community and an argument developed between them.

During the argument, the woman allegedly grabbed a knife and plunged it into the left side of Parker's chest.

She reportedly fled the scene and the injured Parker was assisted to the Spanish Town Hospital where he was pronounced dead.  

The police recovered the suspected weapon from the scene.

The Spanish Town police are investigating.
