Employees at the administrative building of the St Catherine Parish Court have withdrawn their services to protest working conditions.

They say their major grouse is the state of bathrooms, which they say are unsanitary.

The staff, which comprise clerks and other categories of workers, say they have to use buckets to flush the toilets, which floods the bathrooms.

They also complained about the smell of the bathrooms.

The workers lament that the conditions pose a health risk.

They say the offices, which are located at the Rodney Memorial Building in Emancipation Square, has been a source of discomfort for too long and are calling for immediate action.

The workers have vowed to continue their protest action.
