Motorcyclist killed in crash in Guy's Hill, St Catherine

The Guy's Hill police in St Catherine have launched an investigation into a fatal collision between a motor cycle and a truck on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as 25-year-old Garece Campbell of Decoy district, St Mary. 

It is reported that about 5:00 p.m., Campbell was riding a motorcycle along the Guy's Hill main road when he lost control of the vehicle.

The motorbike then collided with a Toyota motor truck which was travelling in the opposite direction.

The impact caused extensive damage to both vehicles, and resulted in Campbell being thrown from the motorbike and suffering severe injuries.

He was pronounced dead at the Linstead Hospital.

The police say the ill-fated motorcycle was not affixed with registration plates at the time of the collision.
