Suspected drowning in Manchester

A post-mortem is expected to be performed.

The Alligator Pond police in Manchester have launched an investigation into a case of suspected drowning at Guts River in the parish yesterday.

Dead is 61-year-old mechanic Robert Foster of Mandeville.

It is reported that about 1:30 p.m. Foster went for a swim at the popular river.

He reportedly got into difficulties and drowned.

The body was removed.

A post-mortem is expected to be performed.
