Three killed and four injured at wake in St Andrew

No motive has been established into last night's incident.

The police are investigating yet another shooting at a wake, this time in Hunts Bay, St Andrew which saw three people being fatally shot and four others injured.

Two of the three deceased have since been identified.

They are Derrick Goodgame, otherwise called 'Junior', a 32-year-old labourer of Chatsworth Avenue, Kingston 11, and Kimberly Plummer, a 23-year-old customer service representative of Mandela Terrace.

It is reported that they were among persons at a wake along Mandela Terrace in the area when about 10:00 p.m. gunmen invaded the event and fired shots indiscriminately, hitting the seven persons.

They were assisted to hospital where Goodgame, Plummer and the other unidentified man were pronounced dead.

The other four victims were admitted.

No motive has been established into last night's incident.

The Major Investigation Division and the Hunts Bay police in St Andrew have launched an investigation in the matter.
