Gun seized, three men arrested in Cassava Piece

An illegal firearm was seized by the St Andrew North Police during an operation in the community of Cassava Piece early Saturday, sources disclosed.
Three men were arrested in connection with the seizure.
Their names have not been released.
According to reports, a police team was conducting surveillance operations when a motor car was observed entering a lane in Cassava Piece.
It's reported that the vehicle was intercepted by members of the police team as the driver attempted to elude them.
During a search, one of the occupants was allegedly found with a silver and black Smith & Wesson .40 pistol concealed in a black holster in his waistband.
