Discovery Bauxite employees partnered with The University of the West Indies Marine Laboratory and Discovery Bay High School to work on International Coastal Clean-up (ICC) Day in Discovery Bay on September 21. The project location on the Old Folly Beach and at the Marine Laboratory’s Boardwalk Beach removed 329 pounds of plastic bottles, trash, debris and other sources of pollution. The effort included volunteers from the local community, the William Knibb High School, and other organisations.
