From left: Karlene Carnegie, director of the Carnegie Foundation for Cancer Research, and Karen Peart, of Friends of the Carnegie Foundation, donated two wheelchairs to Northern Caribbean University (NCU), received by campus physician Dr Morton Frankson, and University President Professor Lincoln Edwards. The presentation was made during the ninth renewal of the Carnegie Cancer Research Foundation Lecture held on November 7, in the gymnatorium on the Mandeville campus. The wheelchairs will be deployed at the campus health centre, as well as in the ambulance.
