The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) and the organisers of the Intimate concert, scheduled for Saturday, January 4, at Plantation Cove in Priory, St Ann, are advising the public of traffic and security arrangements that will be in place for the event.

In a collaborative effort to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all the following measures have been implemented:

Traffic Arrangements

To facilitate the smooth flow of traffic along the North Coast Highway:

-An additional entry point will be constructed at the eastern end of the concert grounds to provide easier access for patrons travelling from Kingston and Ocho Rios.

- Patrons travelling from Trelawny and St. James will be able to enter the grounds through the existing 'MoBay Gate' located west of the facility.

- All four entry points will be signed and manned by police personnel to guide the entry process.

- Police personnel will be placed at strategic points along the North Coast Highway from the Mamme Bay Roundabout to Priory to reduce traffic congestion and increase the flow of vehicular traffic.

Security Arrangements

The JCF and concert promoters are committed to ensuring the safety and security of all patrons attending the concert and as a result:

- No firearms will be allowed inside the concert area.

- Licensed firearms holders will be required to leave their firearms and ammunition at a designated area operated by the police.

Additional Information

- The gates will open at 4:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025.

- Patrons are advised to obey the directions of private security personnel directing parking in the venue.

- Motorists are advised to expect delays accessing the North Coast Highway from off-roads and to obey the instructions of police personnel.

The JCF and concert promoters are appealing to motorists and patrons to cooperate with the traffic and security arrangements to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
