The Shipping Association of Jamaica (SAJ) has opened a condolence book in memory of Alvin Sinclair, senior vice president of the Bustamante Industrial Trade Union and father of the association's staff member, Robert Sinclair.
The book has been placed in the lobby at the SAJ's 4 Fourth Avenue, Newport offices.
All who visit the association's offices are invited to share words of comfort in remembrance of the industrial relations stalwart for this week, March 14-18 from 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Sinclair was also a key member of the Joint Industrial Council, which represents labour on the Port of Kingston. He passed last Monday, after a long illness.
