Panellists from the local and regional shipping and logistics sector following their presentations on day two of 'A Touch of France' held in Kingston last week by the French Embassy in Jamaica and JAMPRO.

Both a commercial and cultural exhibition, 'A Touch of France' is seen as an important event celebrating the long-standing relationship between France and Jamaica as it offers the opportunity to the Jamaican public to discover the French technical and commercial diversity. It is a showcase for French companies and organizations from various sectors offering them the chance to present their products and services, establish concrete and lasting business partnerships with local commercial actors, as well as to discover and develop new markets.

This year a special feature of the event was a series of panel discussions covering three main themes which were 'Logistics - Revolutionising Supply Chains'; 'Diversifying Jamaica's Tourism Product' and 'Renewable Energies - Ideal Energy Mix of the Future'.
