Shipping Association of Jamaica member company Kingston Wharves Limited sponsored the 21st annual general meeting and conference of the Port Management Association of Caribbean (PMAC). It was hosted over three days, from June 27 to June 29, at the Jewels Resort and Spa in St Ann by the Caribbean Maritime University (CMU). The event, an annual melting pot of the best of the Caribbean in the maritime and shipping industries, was held for the first time in Jamaica, attracting the largest number of delegates in its history. It featured an opening ceremony, a welcome reception, technical sessions, a tour of the Caribbean Maritime University campus, an all-white cultural affair titled 'Jamaica Night' and an awards ceremony.
