On June 19 and 20 2018, the Shipping Association of Jamaica (SAJ) hosted a highly successful Supervisory Management workshop at its Fourth Ave offices. Trainer extraordinaire Novelette Denton-Prince took the thirty participants from introductory to more advanced concepts much to the satisfaction of the attendees. Participants who came from both government and private sector rated the workshop as excellent exploring materials which were very useful and providing knowledge which exceeded their expectations. A common request among participants was for additional workshops to provide them with the skills to hone their craft as managers. The SAJ’s workshop series continues on September 12, 2018 with an advanced social media workshop entitled Social Media Planning and Content Management which will assist Communicators, Public Relations Practitioners and other professionals who use social media to better align their social media efforts to their profit making and promotional goals. Below are some highlights of the workshop held in June.
