Shipping Association of Jamaica member company, Lannaman & Morris (Shipping) Limited, facilitated a tour of the Carnival Horizon for some happy youngsters recently. Students of the Hopefield Preparatory School, chaperoned by their parents and teachers, joined the vessel in Ocho Rios, St Ann, at the recently renovated Reynolds Pier.

The 16 students explored the ‘Kids’ Club’ on the Carnival Horizon and were treated to a dance party, cookies, ice cream, video games, and many more fun activities. They received Carnival Horizon teddy bears and string bags at the end of their tour and were treated to pizza and other refreshments by the Lannaman & Morris (Shipping) Limited team.

Carnival Horizon is a 3,936-passenger cruise ship built for the Carnival Cruise Line, a division of Carnival Corporation & plc. She is the second of Carnival’s Vista-class ships and offers fun innovations like the bike-ride-in-the-sky aerial attraction – SkyRide; an IMAX theatre; the Havana section with tropics-inspired staterooms and its own pool; and Family Harbour, featuring extra-roomy accommodations and the Family Harbour Lounge.

Here are pictorial highlights of the tour.
