SAJ offers logistics management workshop

THE SHIPPING Association of Jamaica (SAJ) will host a two-day online workshop on Introduction to Logistics Management, facilitated by the Caribbean Maritime University (CMU). This intensive programme is ideal for professionals seeking to improve their understanding of logistics principles and practices.
The workshop is scheduled for Tuesday, June 25 and Wednesday, June 26, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily. Upon completion, participants will earn a certificate from the CMU.
Participants will gain valuable skills in key areas, including transportation, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution. The workshop delves into essential concepts to equip them for effective logistics management.
The workshop covers a comprehensive overview of logistics fundamentals; explores key transportation, inventory, warehousing, and distribution concepts; and helps develop essential logistics-management skills. Participants will also gain knowledge of logistics terminology, supply-chain planning, and risk management.
