The Sagicor Life Insurance Limited celebrated their annual client mix and mingle party in fine style on the East Lawn of Devon House last Thursday.

Guests were greeted by Sagicor's ushers and a welcome glass of their tasty turquoise signature drink - Sagitini. Group marketing manager, Alysia Moulton-White came up with the signature drink years ago, "After a sample at a few of our events, we stopped it for a few years, but people continued to ask for it, so we made it a staple drink at our events," she told Today.

Nicola Leo-Rhynie, vice-president of employee benefit market, told Today that the aim of their annual Christmas party is to strengthen their client and staff relationship.

Patrons had the options of choosing from three food stations that boast delectable meals such as veggie chow mein, stuffed crab back, sushi - salmon, sweet and sour chicken. There were also Italian flavours including fajita (cheese and veggie-quesadilla) and shrimp and chicken pasta, and Island Fusion putting their culinary skills to the test with pig's tail, jerk pork, and beef tenderloin served with roasted buttered breadfruit.

CHOCOLATE DREAMS

The cherry on top was courtesy of Chocolate Dreams with their chocolate fountain, while Signature Cake and Desserts wowed with rum and raisin cheesecake, white chocolate passion fruit mousse, marquise mud pie, almond pecan tart and sweet potato pudding.

Complementing the beautiful Christmas decor were live performances by 2006 Digicel Rising Stars winners, One Third, and Tarrus Riley performing one hit song after another. Patrons could not help but move to the beat and sing along.

Sagicor went all out to make mix and mingle an event to remember and clients are looking forward to next year's when they drink, eat and laugh together.
