Charles Albert Designs now in Jamaica

Jewellery designs by Charles Albert, in the business since 1990, are now available in Jamaica at Just For Feet along Barbican Road, St Andrew.

Using some of the finest artisans in the business, Albert makes exquisite pieces in sterling silver, gold, fossils, and minerals, and set with up to 100 different gemstones. Information from his website, www.charlesalbert.com, states that the sterling pieces are created using at least 95 per cent pure silver, with each piece meticulously handcrafted and signed. There are also gold pieces.

With each piece being handmade, the fashion-conscious managing director has no need to worry that her department head will be sitting across from her in a carbon copy of her necklace, ring or earrings. Each stone and setting varies slightly, due to its individual nature by silversmiths who take pride in knowing your jewellery is one of a kind, and each item bears the Charles Albert signature logo.

Juliet Morris, who handles sales and marketing for Just For Feet, told The Gleaner that the jewellery will be unveiled at a special show on May 2, at the store located at 20 Barbican Road, St Andrew. She adds that each purchaser will get a free gift, and wine and cheese will be served. The event starts at 5 p.m., and show time is at 7 p.m.
