For many, at 20 years old, they are on the brink of adulthood. In business, this could be a lifetime of labour, and Go Jamaica Travel has prevailed to celebrate this momentous anniversary.

The gardens of The Jamaica Pegasus hotel was like an evening getaway. Everyone received a warm reception and a green lei on arrival. Servers ensured that guests were kept well hydrated with fine wine.

In attendance were supporters from travel agencies such as Total Travel Services Limited, Chin Yee's Travel services and Jetaway Travel Service Limited.

The formalities started with a lightning speed welcome by CEO of Go Jamaica Travel, Dave Chin Tung. Master of Ceremonies Garth Williams kept the programme running smoothly with his laid-back and comedic persona.

Director of Tourism Paul Pennicook and president of the Jamaica Hotel and Tourist Association, Nicola Madden-Greig, were among speakers who gave congratulatory remarks at the anniversary. It was not a night for long speeches.

With the formalities quickly over, it was time for guests to enjoy each other's company under the starts.
