The business of fashion is a serious one and the team of Mission Catwalk understands that very well as was evident at the launch on Monday @twentythree.

Now in it's fifth season, to top the last season, they decided to bring together some of the best past contestants for an all-stars edition.

Premiering on Saturday, September 26 at 8:30 p.m. on TVJ, the reality series will feature 12 of the most talented and memorable contestants (Alexis Campbell - Barbados, AndrÈ Shirley - Jamaica, Ayanna Dixon - Jamaica, Carl Swaby - Jamaica, Carla Gittens - Barbados, David Rolle - The Bahamas, Kesia Estwick - Barbados, Machel Sandy - Trinidad & Tobago, Rebecca Stirm - Belize, Renardo Lloyd - Jamaica, Ryan Chan - Trinidad & Tobago, Shenna Carby - Jamaica). They will be competing for a $5-million prize package.

This year, in addition to the $1,000,000 cash prize to manufacture a line courtesy of National Commercial Bank, a spot at the New York Retail Trade Show courtesy of CAMPARI, and a scholarship to pursue fashion or marketing at the University of Technology are among the fabulous benefits the winner will enjoy.

But the journey to the All-Star title will not be a lonely one, international retail expert Mercedes Gonzalez has joined the Mission Catwalk team as mentor. President of Global Purchasing Companies, Gonzales has been a buyer in the garment industry since 1988 with hands-on experience in every facet of the industry, from manufacturing to marketing to sharing with the emerging designers.
