Sip and Paint: Red Stripe combines art and spirits
As part of its Drink Right campaign, Red Stripe hosted an event called Sip and Paint - the iPledge to Drink Right Edition. It was held last Tuesday at the Red Stripe Hospitality Suite in Kingston.
Specially invited guests were warmly greeted with the Red Stripe Rouge cocktail - a smooth, fruit-flavoured drink that was easy on the palate. Soon, those in attendance would be expected to work with a palette. Each participant was tasked with having fun while trying their hand at painting.
Sustainability manager at Red Stripe, Garth Williams, did the introductions for the night and was followed by the head of corporate relations, Dianne Ashton-Smith, who gave the formal welcome.
RECREATE PAINTING
Island Strokes' Krystal Ball displayed the painting that guests would be attempting to recreate. It seemed a daunting task. However, Ball offered guidance along the way.
In no time, the questionable skills of the guests started to look like works of art. For many of the women, their experiences with make-up came in handy as they blended colours for a smooth finish. At the end of the night, all were in high spirits, proudly showing off their paintings.
Before leaving, guests were offered glasses of the non-alcoholic beverage of the night - a sweet Oreo, Malta and ice cream blend.
