The corporate community came out in fine style to celebrate the season and the year's successes at the American Chamber of Commerce's (AMCHAM's) annual Christmas luncheon.

Held at Talk of the Town, The Jamaica Pegasus hotel, New Kingston, on Tuesday, the event was magnificent, made so with the help of sponsor, Digicel Business.

To get the ball rolling, President of AMCHAM Jamaica Ron McKay and CEO Gail Abrahams took to the stage to share their joy in the association's achievements. This was followed by a delicious meal, during which singer and songwriter Nickesha Barnes delivered an amazing performance that had patrons on their feet rocking to the beat.

TRICK AND TREATS

With many prizes and surprises up for grabs, master of ceremonies Alysia Moulton White had many tricks up her sleeves.

As she made her way around the room, she challenged the company tables to see which guest could come up with the most entertaining introduction. Digicel and JPS led the way with songs and dances, but the highlight of the game came from Opposition Spokesman on Energy and Mining, Phillip Paulwell. Requesting Dwayne Bravo's Champion rhythm, he showed off his lyrical skills with dance moves to match.

The other men in the room weren't afraid to let their hair down either, as, at one point, they grabbed the closest hand bag they could find to strut their stuff on the runway. The room was in stitches, with a few having to pause to wipe tears of joy from their eyes.

And just when everyone thought it couldn't get any better, the timeless Tony Rebel entered the room and gave an amazing performance to top off what was, indeed, a great afternoon.
