Corporate Jamaica had a fun-filled afternoon last Friday at the American Chamber of Commerce's annual Christmas luncheon.

Held at The Jamaica Pegasus hotel in Kingston, they were in for a treat, with master of ceremonies Alysia Moulton-White pulling several tricks out of her hat.

President of AMCHAM Jamaica, Allison Peart, kick-started the afternoon by highlighting the organisation's future plans, including a partnership with AMCHAM Finland. She also encouraged non-members to "run, don't walk, and sign up" for their membership.

Fun Activities

The afternoon proceeded with several giveaways and challenges that kept the mass in suspense.

CEOs were challenged to a sing off, in which Eleanor Jones of Environment Solutions Limited copped first place.

Jean Lowrie-Chin was also awarded with her member's certificate as the newest member of AMCHAM Jamaica.

Companies were also tested on the most creative introduction, which Sherwin Williams timidly avoided, but FLOW courageously embraced, defeating all who were bold enough to compete.

The group was also treated to a delicious meal, complete with authentic Jamaican sorrel, coffee, tea, and scrumptious Christmas cake with sorrel compote.

Sponsored by MasterCard and Super Lotto along with several others, it was an afternoon made perfect with the stellar performance of singer and songwriter Nickeishia Barnes. The songbird had guests digesting every note while singing along with her.

The highlight of the day was managing director of Sherwin Williams, Ian Forbes, capturing the mic from the entertainer and giving the crowd an unexpected grand musical performance. Here are the highlights.
