Tuesday Talk

1. In the great United States of America, little boys and girls are being married. Reliable media reports say more than 200,000 children, some as young as 10, got married over the past 15 years. One wonders what it is that keeps some politicians awake at nights.

2. Next time you try to pay for gas, you may not have the convenience of using a portable swipe card. Apparently, thieves have been making off with them, so some operators have decided that 'enough is enough'.

3. Some people are convinced that the professional associations in Jamaica are largely made up of political activists from one party. If that is so, then folks on the other side are sleeping on the job. For all our sakes, some balance needs to be achieved.
