Fine start to the Glo Luxe Trunk Show
The air was filled with laughter, patrons sipping exotic drinks while sharing in an excited moment shopping for goodies and even relishing a much-needed massage, all sum up the first Glo Skincare Luxe Trunk Show.
Held recently at Hillcrest Avenue in Kingston, the event boasted an all-natural theme. Among other things, it showcased cosmetics, fragrance oils, and jewellery made of some of nature's finest creations like olive oil and crystals.
Curious men, fashionistas, and even little boys and girls turned out to the event, wanting to find the perfect accessories
In addition to host company, Crystal Box by Matthew Delfosse, a young jewellery designer and fashion genie and owner of GGoC by Nicole, Nicole Clark highlighted fashion accessories. As well as, massage expert Patrice Grant and the growing beauty temple Pro Care Wax and Fusion brought by selfcare to the forefront of the affair.
"We wanted to partner with other local brands and make our clients become aware of these brands as well as our new products," Rashida Gopie, sales manager at Glo explained.
Describing the day's engagement as one of chic sophistication, Gopie noted that customers made great use of a "fun-filled and interactive" opportunity.
"It is a warm, friendly get-together. The displays are simple yet tasteful. Being a jewellery freak, I was seated at the jewellery booth for a long while because it was not only about the sale, but was also about educating people about the different types of precious stone," said Judy Welds.
Also, celebrity disc jockey ZJ Venus kept shoppers on their feet and rocking to the beats of thrilling music.
Hoping to stage a second show soon, Gopie said: "You should expect a lot more vendors at the next one. It will be a little bit more glitzy because it will be in December, and the set-up will be themed towards a holiday setting"
