Last Friday, SallyAnn Gray launched her second book Planted In Purpose at the Opa Greek Restaurant at Devon House. With a full house, Gray captivated her audience with testimonials and insightful stories of what it means to find your true purpose and grow within it.

With spirited cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and live entertainment, the event evoked a sense of accomplishment and promise as each speaker told an attentive audience that they, too, can develop themselves once they have been planted in their purpose.

Grateful

"I am grateful, and I wanted to take the opportunity to thank everyone for their support," said a very emotional Gray. She proceeded to speak about the different sections of her book, which focuses on overcoming trials and believing in yourself. "This book will cause you to do a lot of self-reflection. It will cause you to ask yourself, 'What purpose do I serve here on this planet?'" said Gray.

"It is so magnificent to be around somebody who yearns to know their purpose and tries to execute it," said guest speaker and dear friend Kadesha Dallas. "Being planted in your purpose is about consistency and discipline," she continued as she delved into the three seeds that will resonate with readers as they read the book.

The three core seeds of the book are search, solid, and soar. The first step to being planted in your purpose is searching for and locating it. The second step is being solid. After finding what you want to do, being solid and disciplined in it is what will enable you to reap the rewards. Soaring is understanding that there will be obstacles, but having a good support system in place will allow you to go after your dreams with passion and vigour.

Planted in Purpose will allow you to tap into who you want to be and become rooted within it.
