To say the official opening of Montego Bay’s newest member of the accommodations sector, the S Hotel, was a grand affair, would be a great understatement; that is because it was simply amazing, and a proud and historic moment for Jamaica’s tourism. The opening was not just a ribbon-cutting exercise for the 120-room hotel, but an awesome celebration of Jamaican food, entrepreneurship, elements of Jamaican music and culture. The event saw hundreds of Jamaicans from every parish converging on the property, which can only be described as a festival in its own right. Here are the social highlights.
